Blaine was still asleep.

A year ago, that would have never happened. In fact, in all seven years they’ve been married, Kurt could recall only a handful of times Blaine has slept in compared to him, and all of them have been in the past few months. “Kurt,” Blaine groaned, rolling his head back against Kurt’s chest. “Sleep.”

“You sleep. I’m talking to our son,” he laughed, letting Blaine go so he could lay flat on his back. He held himself up by his elbows, lying eye-level to Blaine stomach. He pressed a gentle kiss to his husband’s stomach when he noticed another part of Blaine that was demanding his attention.

“Well, someone’s awake this morning. Jealous?”

Blaine threw the pillow at his head. “Sleep. Blowjobs later.”

“Or,” Kurt offered, running his hands down Blaine’s naked thighs. “Blowjobs now, sleep later.” He licked a long strip down his husband’s cock, causing him to shiver.

Blaine screamed into his pillow.

Blaine pulled the pillow off of his face. “I. Am. So. Close.” He whined, high-pitched and needy.

Kurt pressed a gentle kiss to his stomach. “Don’t worry—I can still do this.” He whispered softly, taking his husband’s cock into his hand.

Sometimes I just like to imagine ridiculously successful New Directions of the future. And then maybe two of them (well-known triple threats Blaine and Tina are my current favourites) are hosting an awards ceremony and for the opening number it’s announced, “From from William McKinley High in Lima, Ohio, former show choir National Champions, it’s the New Directions!” And everyone is just like what the fuck, but the hosts go into this big musical number, with different people slowly coming in. And they realise oh wow, it’s Broadway legends Kurt Hummel and Rachel Berry, and then Emmy winning actress Quinn Fabray. And chart topping singers Mercedes Jones and Santana Lopez. Which is cool but they know they can all sing but wow is that the legendary director-screenwriting pair of Artie Abrams and Noah Puckerman singing and playing with the band? With a turner prize playing artist in the form of Sam Evans! Then during the instrumental there’s an incredible dance break from Mike Chang who judges on that reality dance competition and - nobel prize winner Brittany Pierce? etc. etc.

Finn just plays drums and sings back up, because he’s happy as a teacher in the background, but he’s well known enough as Rachel’s spouse to be recognisable.

Also present are Marley Rose, whose fans now have a face to go with the sweet vocals on the morning radio, renowned ballet artist Jacob Puckerman, kids’ show host Ryder Lynn, motivational exercise video host Catherine “Kitty” Wilde and chart topper/sometime LGBTQ+ spokeslady UNIQUE.

Reblogging for what the New Kids do as I reduced them to a tag of them also being there even though I do love them, I approve these choices! I couldn’t think of what for Ryder and Kitty.

Sam’s mother doesn’t say anything when Stevie whines about dinner choice. She does not say pasta is cheap or we can’t afford anything else—she just takes another long drag of her cigarette.

He doesn’t cook much, anymore. Carole does most of the cooking, and when she doesn’t Kurt does, and so Sam really has no business in the kitchen alone, especially since he’s not sure Burt trusts him with sharp knives, which, really, isn’t a bad idea.

But Carole’s working late tonight, and Burt’s still in DC and Kurt’s out on a date with Blaine, so it’s just Sam and Finn.

So Sam cooks.

Carole wanders in a little bit after eight, and practically collapses against him with relief. ”You cooked dinner?” She asks, trying to hide the evidence of a quick fast food run.

He shrugs. ”It’s just pasta. I had to cook for my family for a while.”

“You’re a good boy, Sam. Thank you.”

She kisses his cheek and—for a few minutes, he misses his mother.
